Where shall I begin...

The Cakery Bee was initially a challenge for myself. I have been a cake lover since I was a little girl. I have indulged in so many kinds of cake, it is like a food group to me.  For years I made cakes for birthdays, holidays, and special events. The recent wave of home bakers and cake artists peaked my creative interest as I searched the internet for holiday dessert ideas.

After identifying and tackling most beginner's issues with cake making, I realized I enjoyed and actually had a knack for making cakes and had found a new love for decorating. So fast forward months of tutorials, classes, and trial and error, and you will find me in my kitchen, experimenting, trying, and failing at recipes. The Cakery Bee is me challenging myself to knock out the most awesome cakes I've fell in love with, using the best ingredients I can find.  Of course I'll be adding my own little spin and creating some of my own best desserts.
